A particular combination of Φ5.0 external fixator products is the radius cross-articular frame. There exist diverse combination techniques for distinct applications.

Specifics of the frame:
Place two 3 mm bone screws in the radius shaft at the proximal end of the parallel arrangement, and two 3 mm bone screws in the second metacarpal at the distal end. Attach the coupling X to both ends using two 30° struts apiece. Next, join all the parts into a frame and lock using two Τ5 L200mm connecting rods (straight type) and four rod to rod couplings VII. (During the procedure, the bone screws' parallel arrangement should be guided by the needle block X.
