Φ11.0 Series External Fixation Fixator – Tibia Plateau Frame
Tibia Plateau Frame – Φ11.0 Series External Fixation Fixator
The Tibia Plateau Frame is a versatile configuration within the Φ11.0 external fixation system, designed specifically for fractures of the tibia plateau. It offers multiple assembly options tailored to different clinical requirements.
Frame Setup:
The frame attaches to the tibia plateau using a transverse clamp and bone pins, connected by straight carbon fiber rods and pin-to-rod couplings to form a stable structure. Two 6mm bone screws are inserted in parallel into the tibia plateau, with two additional 6mm screws in the distal tibia shaft, completing the frame assembly.
Key Features:
-
Easy to use and adaptable, creating a stable, three-dimensional external fixation system.
-
Modular design allows flexible assembly during surgery, with components added as needed.
-
Lightweight aluminum clamps reduce overall frame weight.
-
Elastic carbon fiber rods reduce stress concentration, improving patient comfort and device durability.
This frame serves as a practical guide for effective tibia plateau fracture management.
