Φ11.0 Series External Fixation Fixator – Ankle Bridge Frame
Ankle bridge frame - Φ11.0 Series External Fixation Fixator
One combination of Φ11.0 external fixator devices is the ankle bridge frame. There exist diverse combination techniques for distinct applications.
The actual operation will depend on the fracture; this frame is merely meant to serve as a guide.
Specifics of the frame:
Insert two 5 mm bone screws into the calcaneus and two 6 mm bone screws into the shaft of the distal tibia. Connect the bone pins using two ̤11 L200mm connecting rods (straight type) and four pin to rod couplings XV. Next, join all the parts into a frame using two Rod to rod coupling XVII and one ̤11 L250mm connecting rod (straight type), and lastly lock.
Qualities:
1. Simple to use, adaptable combination that can be used to create a stable, three-dimensional external fixation system.
2. During the procedure, the stent can be flexibly assembled in accordance with the adaption symptoms, and parts can be added to the frame whenever needed.
3. The aluminum fix clamp contributes to a lighter overall frame.
4. To lessen stress concentration, an elastic frame is built with carbon fiber connecting rods.
